A series of publications have been developed for school administrators, educators, educational interpreters, students, and parents to support language access for
children who are deaf and hard of hearing in general education settings. The publications were developed through the collaborative efforts of Dr. Brenda Schick, Gallaudet University, and Boys Town National Research Hospital and are based on the content of Dr. Schick’s Classroom Interpreting website maintained by Boys Town National Research Hospital.

National Association of Interpreters in Education
The National Association of Interpreters in Education, NAIE, is an organization of interpreters who provide services to support the communication needs of students in educational settings. The NAIE promotes the pursuit of professional excellence regarding interpreting services in these settings.
